NHS Hospital Admission Books & Medical Logs

NHS Hospital Admission Books & Medical Logs

Background:
NHS hospital managers contacted us with a requirement for administration and ward admission books to keep details of patient notes.

Challenge:
The books need to be used for a year and would suffer heavy usage on a day to day basis. The books also needed to be tough enough survive in storage for up to 10 years.

We carefully selected a suitable high quality paper and we researched various binding methods tough enough to survive.
We can create each book in a different colour, this makes finding the correct book quick and easy. The contents are customised for each ward to meet their individual requirements., some books incorporate a different layout in the front and the back.

We have provided these books for many different hospitals around the country and for all departments.

HB tailors every book individually so you receive exactly what you require.

Design Features:
Customised admission books for hospitals. Each book has it’s own layout depending on the requirements and the number of patients to be allowed for.

British BIDs Website

British BIDs Website

, ,

Company Background:
British BIDs lead the way in the development, management, renewal and evolution of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) in Britain.

BIDs are business-led partnerships focused on improving and enhancing commercial areas including town and city centres, commercial locations and industrial estates. The company is a privately owned member organisation.  The company lists every BID in Great Britain and presents all the details and documents for each BID. They run events, training courses and professional BID services. British BIDs provide very detailed information about BIDs and are the go to source of information.

The Challenge:
With such a large website (around 800 pages) there is significant amount of data, so our usability and architecture research was going to be key. Our key objective was to present all the information as clearly as possible and to make it easy to navigate.

We created very detailed site architecture for every area of the website and this developed into wireframes of each page layout. At this stage our work was off line making sure that user experience and usability worked impeccably. The key pages of the site  followed from the usability research and the wireframe layouts. Once all these tasks were achieved we created the final designs and development of the site.

As the site was so large we created a “Personal Assistant’ for users. This is a simple one click personal page for each user. The page presents users with their favourite documents, bookmarked pages and follows events on their behalf. It saves time tracking through the website each time when they could go straight to their own assistant page.

With a custom made content management system the client can update the website as much as they wish. We continue to maintain this […]

The Brief
The brief to promote the shopping centre to existing and new customers in researched key catchment areas.  To produce a series of posters and press adverts to promote the shopping centre. The posters ran around the centre and also on road side bus signs in the key catchment areas.

About the centre
Eden Walk Shopping Centre is located in the centre of Kingston upon Thames and amoungst other benefits, offers a large car park in a prime location.

Our Solution
The strap line’ Discover why everyone is in a flutter’ evokes excitement and stirs interest to busy, exciting shopping centre. This poster was to run in spring so the use of the butterflies added a seasonal feel. In the autumn we produced a clear and simple message’ ‘for great shopping and plentiful parking’. Part of the brief was to promote the convenient car park as well and the range of shops within the centre.  The background illustration shows shopping bags and cars flowing around in warm autumnal colours.

ITTFA logo

ITTFA Logo

ITTFA Logo

,

Background:
ITTFA (International Tourism Trade Fair Association) is the professional organisation for the tourism trade around the world, the market place for each country to share knowledge and promote themselves. We won the pitch to rebrand and relaunch this organisation for the global market place. The sibling ETTFA (European Tourism Trade Fair Association) already had a reasonable representation around Europe and the aim was to raise the profile to a global audience and to increase membership.

The Challenge:
We researched the market place in detail and worked on a multitude of different logos and marks. Our work lead us to a the logo which encompasses all the different organisations in the world, bringing them together and moving forward.

We designed the website to be clean and clear, making it easy for users to navigate the site. Visual elements, like the map of the globe made finding each member details easy. The call to join the organisation was prominent on all pages and the website significantly aided increased membership. There is a large members area with a forum, an extensive database of documents and each organisation has their own login area to customise their details and upload files, brand and exhibition details.
